\nI alert him like any sentry would.
\nHackles raised and menacing growl,
\nNow he\u2019s aware that critters prowl.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nUsing whines and cries and physical action.
\nSometimes I have to be persistent,
\nIf I encounter his sleepy resistance.<\/p>\n
\nSecurity ne\u2019er breached, not one instance.
\nDebt owed for a job well done,
\nThanks and praise in satisfaction.<\/p>\n
\nKeeping low profile in case there is trouble.
\nI feign comfy, sleepy composure,
\nIn case nearby lurks a furniture burglar.<\/p>\n
