Hi, this is Eddie. I am the mostly brown-colored dog.<\/p>\n

One of our favorite places to be is OUTSIDE<\/em>. Each excursion is a new adventure. Part of the thrill is anticipating what awaits. Bunnies might be in the yard. My evil squirrel nemesis could be there, too. When either Buster or I go OUTSIDE<\/em>, the most difficult part is remaining in a “sit-stay” at the open door while waiting for our release word. When Buster is released he jumps onto the deck but always comes back to Mister Tom before he again releases Buster. Mister Tom is trying to teach me to do the same thing. But, once OUTSIDE<\/em> I get so excited that I sometimes forget to turn around and go back to Mister Tom.<\/p>\n

Each charge outside another chance,
\nTo play, explore, or smell the plants.<\/span><\/p>\n

We must make sure we check,
\nAll places explored on our last trek.<\/p>\n

Possibilities that something changed,
\nA sound, a sight, all rearranged?<\/p>\n

And find new spots to examine,
\nAlways ready to spring to action.<\/p>\n

Each smell, each sound we log,
\nWith determination called dog’d.<\/p>\n

Mission ended hearing him grouse,
\n“Buster,” “Eddie” time for house!<\/p>\n
