Hello all!
I am Buster J. Brown. In the picture I am the white-colored dog with brown spots. The other dog is Eddie. We live with our people companion Mister Tom. I came to live with Mister Tom through a dog rescue. Eddie came to live with us through a dog shelter.
My first post is a poem I wrote about how I came to live with Mister Tom. A little more than nine years ago I was a lost dog who was found in the woods of the deep south.
Enjoy.
THE FOUNDLING (Copyright 2013 by Buster J. Brown)
A homeless waif from woods deep South,
He found the hunters midst briars and moss.
Wild boar were their quarry,
Yet ‘neath thickets he waited somewhat wary.
A glimmer of hope and recognition,
These were people he found, not his imagination.
With sad looks and tail wags he drew them near,
All the while showing there was nothing to fear.
Once greeted and treated his mission accomplished,
A journey ahead to the North was his promise.
He had miles to travel, though somewhat ill,
To his home in the North, to [Somewhere]ville.
Once there he showed his true acumen,
Not just a dog, an obedience champion.
Nice first posting, Buster. Good boy!
Buster is the dog poet of his generation. Both dogs and humans are inspired by him. He is a beacon in the darkness.
I love it! What a clever dog! 🙂
I am following you on Twitter. You can be the first person to follow me!
To all those people who commented on the first day of my first ever blog post, you are “Pals-O-Busterâ„¢” for LIFE.
Buster, your such an inspiration, your always welcomed at my place.
Maybe you could give Grover some pointers.
Wow Buster! not only an obedience pro, but a poet as well. We’re very impressed at your literary prowess. 🙂
I have written a poem about Walter which I will post next week.
Hollywood’s calling for the movie rights. Hey baby, let’s keep in touch.
I have not gotten any calls. Maybe Eddie took the call while I was OUTSIDE!
Maybe when I post on Wednesday with my second poem the calls will start flooding in.
Wow, Buster is very talented! And very lucky he found Tom 🙂
Mister Tom says you you are a pal to all dogs. So, you are an official “Pal-O-Busterâ„¢” and “Pal-O-Eddieâ„¢.” Eddie and I try to post once a week, usually on Tuesday evening. Our next post is about our favorite food (this is what’s called a teaser).
